The Manager, Hospitality & Events is directly responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and leadership of diverse events that showcase the winery’s commitment to luxury and sustainability, managing day-to-day event tasks such as vendor arrangements and event logistics, and ensuring each event is executed to reflect the winery’s high standards of hospitality. Additionally, they will assist the Estate Director across all aspects of Tasting Room operations, leading the hospitality team and fostering an environment that drives the business through extraordinary experiences that transcend expectation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and inspire a team of tasting room and event staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and a guest-first mentality. Drive initiatives that enhance team performance and quality.
- Event Coordination: Arrange and confirm event details with vendors and manage all logistical aspects to ensure event success.
- Event Execution: Oversee the operations on the day of the event, handling site visits, and ensuring all aspects of the event meet the predetermined standards.
- Internal Event Planning: Plan and coordinate internal events such as Member, Media, and Trade events, ensuring each event is tailored to the audience and executed flawlessly.
- Event Innovation and Execution: Lead the development and delivery of unique, differentiated events that enhance guest engagement. Ensure each event is a testament to creativity and high standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with Event Sales, Chef and Estate Director to communicate event details and proactively address any challenges.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Acts as an integral part of the Tasting Room management team, supporting the Wine Educators in service and leading to achieve monthly goals
- Participates in daily lineups to set the team's tone, pace, and expectations.
- Participates in educational opportunities for staff to ensure their wine, sales, sustainability, and industry knowledge is current and evolving; ensures the team conducts themselves as brand and sustainability ambassadors, demonstrating positive characteristics of exceptional guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. - Experience: 3-5 years in event or hospitality management, preferably in the hospitality or wine industry.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Characteristics: Passionate about wine, elevated hospitality, and sustainable practices. Solution-oriented with a strong guest-first mentality and the agility to adapt to changing needs.
