The role of Customer Service/Wine Sales Associate is key to maintaining excellence in our relationships with our current and new wine club members. This position works from our “call center” and provides impeccable service through telephone, email, chat and other electronic or virtual communications. Some of the primary responsibilities include: responding to incoming sales calls from internet customers, delivering timely and appropriate responses to questions and concerns, inputting and updating member and customer information within our database, processing transactions, and supporting the Wine Club Manager in member retention and membership growth.
The pay range for the role is $20 to $24 an hour. Sales goals will be set monthly and periodically. Achieving the sales goals is incentivized through a generous bonus plan. The current schedule for this role is Tuesday through Saturday.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a customer service or sales environment, ability to verbally communicate professionally and effectively, and process high volume of data entry with efficiency and accuracy. Prior winery experience with an in-depth knowledge of wines and attractions throughout Napa and Sonoma Valley is desired.
