The Facilities Manager will be responsible for multiple restaurant locations and in maintaining the Facilities operations within a specific market/region. This person will ensure restaurants are receiving preventative maintenance, repair services, and capex projects in a timely, cost- effective and efficient manner. The Manager will forecast and manage Facilities R&M budgets, Capex budgets and oversees quality control within the region. This person will work closely within the operation teams, including field leadership, to communicate and enhance the support provided by the Facilities maintenance function.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee Facilities management guidelines and procedures, including
- R&M/Capex budget management, projection and recommendations
- Capital re-investment projects from implementation through completion delivering projects on time and under budget
- Parts, equipment and fixture purchasing
- One (1) year warranty walk on all NRO within region
- Potential management of in-house Facilities Technicians
- Frequent site surveys and visits, working alongside Operation Teams and Area Directors to identify trends and issues and resolving root causes
- Frequent communication regarding all Capex project work
- Build relationships with primary service partners through on-site meetings, emails and frequent phone calls; includes rate negotiation, preventative maintenance cost, and overall performance
- Emergency availability as situations arise
What You'll Need:
- Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values
- Working knowledge of and the ability to use Service Channel (or similar Facilities Management Software)
- Working proficiency to use web-based software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of service and maintenance costs, and procedures for various building systems
- Knowledge of current trends and issues in Facilities Management field
- Moderate knowledge level of typical restaurant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
PHYSICAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Work in office environment, have flexibility to travel up to 30-40% to existing and new restaurants
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Overtime may be required to support restaurant operating hours and project deadlines
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines
WORK EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES
- At least 5 years' experience in Facilities maintenance or related field, Experience in the restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to Communicate Effectively, manage competing priorities and develop creative solutions
