Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable event staff to join our team for winery events throughout the year. This position is not part of a weekly schedule—you will be scheduled as needed for concerts, wine release parties, festivals, and special gatherings. Our primary event season runs May through October, with additional events scheduled occasionally during the winter months.

As part of our small, close-knit team, you will play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly and that every guest has a welcoming, memorable experience. If you enjoy working with people, have a customer-service mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Assist with event set-up and breakdown, including furniture, décor, and equipment
Provide bar backing and wine service, including pouring and stocking
Greet and engage guests with professionalism and warmth
Process sales transactions using the winery’s POS (Point of Sale) system
Monitor event activities and address issues as they arise
Deliver excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and needs
Support tasting room staff and maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, guest-focused atmosphere

Qualifications

Must genuinely enjoy working with people
Previous hospitality, events, or customer service experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of POS software and ability to process transactions accurately
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible availability, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move items during set-up and breakdown
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
