Laurentia Vineyard and Winery is now hiring wine hosts to work in our winery tasting room. In this role, you will focus on pouring wine for our guests and educating our customers about our wines. You will handle sales transactions with a touch screen point of sale system including both cash and credit card transactions. You will guide our customers through our wine and food menus, talk about our wine club program, conduct wine sales and share your wine knowledge with our guests. You will keep a clean work space, work efficiently with your time and be a positive team player.
The ideal candidate will have hospitality/food service/wine industry experience, excellent customer service, and an optimistic, polite tone with people. Wine knowledge and/or experience is a plus. Priority will be given to candidates to meet requirements including availability to work 5 days per week including weekends. Saturday availability required. This is an hourly plus tips role that will have you earning top dollar the moment you are trained and serving our guests.
