Overview
The Vineyard Operations Specialist will support all aspects of vineyard management, including fieldwork, seasonal planning, and team coordination. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution and operational awareness to ensure vineyard health, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met. This role also operates within a small, collaborative team environment where flexibility is essential. Candidates must be willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities to support overall operations during peak periods.
Duties
- Execute daily vineyard operations including pruning, canopy management, spraying, and harvest activities
- Monitor vine health, pests, and disease pressure, escalating concerns as needed
- Assist with planning and execution of seasonal vineyard activities
- Operate and maintain vineyard equipment safely and efficiently
- Support labor coordination during peak seasons, including harvest
- Maintain accurate records of vineyard activities and inputs
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across vineyard processes
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of vineyard, agriculture, or related outdoor operations experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of plant health, pest management, or crop production
- Experience operating agricultural equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in variable weather conditions and contributing wherever needed to support vineyard operations.
Pay: $47,575.02 - $57,294.64 per year
