Winery and Cidery Tasting Room Administrator

Two K Farms is a vibrant winery and cidery dedicated to producing high-quality wines and ciders in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our tasting room is the heart of Two K Farms, where guests experience our craft products and enjoy an inviting atmosphere overlooking Traverse City Bay. We are committed to enhancing our guests’ experience while fostering a positive work culture for our employees. Ideal position for individual who wishes to work 3 to 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

- Motivate and cultivate a positive work environment for staff while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

- Manage and schedule staff for the Tasting Room, including training and tracking daily hours.

- Act as a professional representative and host/hostess, welcoming customers and educating them about our products.

- Guide staff in customer interactions and service, ensuring alignment with guest conversations.

- Oversee inventory management of Tasting Room cider, wine, and merchandise, including compiling weekly supply lists for operational needs.

- Actively participate in meetings with management to suggest improvements for the Tasting Room experience and discuss industry trends.

- Create and manage the yearly planning calendar, coordinating main events such as festivals, weddings, and other priority activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

- 3 to 4 day work week.

- Experience in team management and staff scheduling in a retail or hospitality setting.

- Knowledge of wines and ciders, or a willingness to learn about Two K products.

- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.

- Ability to work collaboratively with management and other departments to enhance the customer experience.

- Prior 4 – 7 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Wage compensation is based on prior work experience: $18 – 25 per hour.
