Ruby Vineyard is a family owned Winery and Vineyard in the Laurelwood District AVA. We are looking for a Sales Manager to grow three sales channels, tasting room, online and wholesale. Our winery staff is small. This role will be dynamic and require a self starter who can wear many hats. This role will primarily be on-site, but can allow for remote work when appropriate. The wines are excellent, the location is superb; there is a lot to work with.
Tasting Room (Around 40%)
● Oversee tasting room sales
● Work with the tasting room staff to increase sales
● Develop events for Ruby Vineyards tasting room that will drive traffic
● Cover shifts for the tasting room staff as needed during events or PTO
● Learn and master our POS system
● Work with tasting room staff to execute wine club shipments (twice yearly)
● Provide support with sales and shipping during wine club season
Online Sales (Around 15%)
● Keeping our website up to date
● Managing inventory in Order Port
● Implementing strategies to increase sales
Social Media (Around 10%)
● Oversee our social accounts
● Develop strategies to increase engagement and grow sales
Offsite Sales (Around 35%)
● Oversee wholesale and work directly with our distributor in Oregon, Washington and California
● Develop and implement sales strategies and incentive programs
● Build and manage a strategic target account list
● Work with our distributor to develop relationships at key accounts
● Schedule and implement tastings and wine dinners to grow interest in the brand.
● Develop and grow chain sales
● Attend industry trade sales events
● Pour wine as needed for accounts, including on weekends
