At first glance, working in a winery tasting room might appear to be a relaxing, slow-paced role pouring wine, chatting with guests, and soaking in vineyard views. While those moments exist and are part of the charm, the reality is far more dynamic. As a Shift Lead, you're essentially guiding a fast-paced hospitality operation: you're bartending, managing flow, coaching teammates in real time, and ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional, memorable experience. It’s a job that requires grace under pressure, quick decision-making, and a passion for people. This role isn't just about wine; it's about leadership, agility, and creating connection in a high-energy environment.

Base hourly rate is determined by experience level. Commission and tips in addition to hourly rate.

Physical Requirements:

The Shift Leader position requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time (up to 8–10 hours), including walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (e.g., cases of wine, bar supplies) and confidently maneuver in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment. This role involves frequent movement behind the bar and throughout guest service areas, as well as occasional outdoor responsibilities in varying weather conditions. Must be able to safely operate standard tasting room equipment and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
