Tasting Room Manager

Point of the Bluff | Keuka Lake, NY

Point of the Bluff is seeking an experienced, sales-driven Tasting Room Manager to lead daily operations of our Hammondsport tasting room and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a beautiful Finger Lakes setting.

This role is ideal for someone who loves world-class wine, leading people, driving sales, and taking pride in maintaining a welcoming, polished space.

What You’ll Do

Oversee day-to-day tasting room operations
Lead by example in sharing Point of the Bluff’s vision of hospitality to create exceptional guest experiences
Hire, train, schedule, and support tasting room staff
Drive wine sales and wine club growth
Maintain overall upkeep of the tasting room, including cleanliness, organization, and presentation
Manage POS systems (Commerce7), inventory, and daily sales reporting
Ensure compliance with service standards, safety guidelines, and NYS liquor laws
Collaborate with winery, events, and marketing teams

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of hospitality management experience (winery experience a plus)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Sales-minded with a passion for guest experience
Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Experience with POS systems (Commerce7 experience a plus)
Wine knowledge preferred, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and event-heavy seasons
Must be able to Lift 40+ Lbs
Comfortable with both administrative and operational aspects of a wine club
Weekend availability required.
