Position Summary
Coat Check staff contribute to the overall event experience by storing and retrieving guests’ personal items. Coat Check staff represent the events team and help provide a quality experience for guests. Coat Check staff work in close collaboration with event staff and must adhere to established health and safety standards. Coat Check staff also are responsible for keeping the coat check area clean, organized and set up for success. Coat Check staff are required to have weekend and late night availability.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining coat check room to ensure easy storage and retrieval of guests’ belongings
- Return all mobile coat racks, stanchions, etc to the proper areas
- Greet guests and take personal belongings to proper areas in coat room
- Keep guests personal items organized
- Support staff members and assist team members where needed
- Abide by sanitation, health and company guidelines concerning safety, and cleanliness
- Attend meetings and trainings as requested, including pre-shift meetings
- Assist with training of new staff
- Adhere to grooming, conduct and uniform standards
- Execute opening and closing procedures as directed
- Be comfortable with extreme weather during service of outside dining areas
- Other duties as required
