Lescombes Family Vineyards is the premier vineyard and winery in the state of New Mexico. Our current locations consist of our bistro locations: Albuquerque Cottonwood, Albuquerque Old Town, Alamogordo, and Las Cruces; Hervé Wine Bar in Santa Fe; and a tasting room adjacent to the winery in Deming. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The operation and sanitation of all winemaking equipment, including but not limited to pumps, tanks, filters, barrels, hoses, clamps, and fittings.
- Works closely with supervisors and winemakers to complete tasks.
- Prepare yeast inoculates.
- Read and follow work orders, complete wine additions, blends, transfers, and any other duties in the production of wine.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all ASI and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic math skills required.
- Experience in a production facility is preferred.
- Must be willing to learn or possess skills in a production environment
- Must have the flexibility to work schedules required by cellar production, including weekends.
- Strong commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a repetitive basis.
- Work standing up and walking on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a cold and wet environment (consistently 6065 degrees), for 34 months per year 3040 degrees.
- Ability to climb ladders.
