Salary - $60,000.00 Annual Salary + Commission

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Rep position is responsible for overseeing a territory (a set number of states throughout the U.S.) and working with distributors and retailers in the states of responsibility. This position works intimately with the company’s distributor partners in communicating information about the company’s products and assisting distributors in sales.
- Regularly calls on distributors, working with various staff in multiple channels
- Motivates and creates positive working relationships with distributors
- Develops and maintains close working relationships with retailers, restaurateurs, and other industry contacts
- Ensures continued sales growth of brands in a geographic area
- Ensures compliance with all national programs and placements
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ensure that distributors carry sufficient stock to properly service and avoid outofstocks
- Ensures that promotional materials are used effectively in their markets
- Provides updates on the market to managers with required workwith reports regularly
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Communicates any concerns with distributors and retailers
- Attends regional and national events and tastings
- Professionally represents the company to improve products’ distribution levels, shelf space, displays, etc
- Comply with all ASI and OSHA.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be personable and must communicate effectively with distributor partners, retailers, customers, and internal staff
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly in person and on the telephone
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Must maintain strong communication with company management
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be a selfstarter and have a strong ability to multitask
- Must have a strong work ethic
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 or more years of direct experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be fit to travel extensively
- Must present oneself professionally at all times while on company business
