Cellar Worker at Winery in Walla Walla
Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an immediate opening for a cellar position in our Winery in Walla Walla.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Move Juice / Wine from tank to tank using pumps, hoses, and fittings.
- Weigh additives and make additions to the Juice / Wine.
- Sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittings.
- Operate Pumps, Presses, and Filters.
- Maintaining accurate records and performing accurate data entry.
- Maintaining an organized and clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned by Winemakers and Cellar Master.
Skills And Requirements
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational stills, detail oriented.
- Self-starter with initiative willingness to learn and follow new procedures.
- Previous experience in a winery preferred but not required.
- Basic math required.
- High school graduate or GED required
- College degree preferred but not required
- Must live in Walla Walla
- Very physical work – a great deal of fitness required.
Compensation $16.66-17.00 depending on experience.
The ideal applicant will be able to work as a key member of our team and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
This is a paid full-time position 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Extended hours during harvest including Saturday and Sunday.
