Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Worker to join our team in a dynamic environment focused on the winery industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various operational tasks and maintaining safety standards. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency while working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read a measuring tape.
- Must NOT be afraid of heights.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production process, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
- Fabricate and assemble components as needed for production.
- Sanitate equipment and work areas to maintain compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
- Package finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move materials and products safely within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or craft beer production is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety practices is a plus.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, particularly forklifts, is advantageous.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to various tasks as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new techniques in brewing and production processes.
