Ernest Vineyards, an independent winery based in western Sonoma County, is seeking an enthusiastic new addition to our small-but-mighty team at our Tasting Lounge on the Healdsburg Plaza.

About the role: Our tasting room team is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers while promoting the sale of our wines and wine club as well as nurturing connection with our mailing list and club members through digital channels.
1. Provide an educational, fun, and positive tasting experience for all our guests, mailing list, and wine club members.
2. Be an enthusiastic ambassador of Ernest Vineyards.
3. Look for every opportunity to surprise and delight guests before, during, and after their visit.
4. Share our wines in a knowledgeable and friendly manner and recommend Wine Club membership to all guests.
5. Build relationships with wine club and mailing list members and correspond with them via email, phone, text, and mail on a regular basis.
6. Participate in digital and mobile outreach and sales.
6. Deliver excellent and proactive Hospitality, that is high-touch, elevated, and friendly.
7. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the Tasting Lounge and Parklet, while performing additional assigned tasks.
8. Coordinate and lead group tastings.
9. Have a passion for wine and deliver exceptional Hospitality to all guests in person and via every other style of interaction.
10. Participate in offsite pouring, events and team meetings.

About you:
1. Outstanding Hospitality and customer service skills.
2. Oral and written communications skills.
3. Computer literacy – knowledge of Figure, and Tock software is a plus!
4. Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
5. Unpretentious and professional demeanor and appearance.
6. Sales aptitude and understanding of all components of sales.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
8. Must have a flexible schedule – weekends and holidays are required
9. Ability to work as part of a team
10. Ability to work independently without supervision
11. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
12. A love of wine, people and hospitality is a must!
