SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for a Winery Administrative Assistant to join our team who has an eye for accounting details and familiarity with the wine world. Must be a highly organized person who can prioritize tasks and act independently if necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Field incoming client calls & direct to appropriate person

- Ensure client contracts and permits are up to date.

- Manage company events & meetings calendar

- Manage vendor & supplier activities

- Prepare payroll input

- Order supplies

- Input A/R & A/P via QuickBooks

- Generate monthly client reports and monthly compliance reports

- Manage wine inventory at multiple locations.

- Oversee shipping & receiving

- Review insurance documentation

- Manage office/admin work

- Works with one remote employee

- Works directly for General Manager

- Supervises 2 part time tasting room employees

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Accounting background, required

- Working knowledge of Commerce 7 Software and QuickBooks Online a plus

- Be a team player and multi-tasker

- Adaptable and flexible in a somewhat fluid work environment

-Transportation to at least two locations as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk at various times. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift wine cases and objects up to 50 pounds. Demonstrate ability to work extended hours if necessary.
