Marketing & Wine Club Manager
ROCO winery seeks a wine industry professional to lead our Marketing and wine Club initiatives. The ideal candidate will create and implement the marketing calendar to execute strategic priorities to build brand awareness and consumer loyalty. They will also enhance ROCO's digital presence, develop and implement e-commerce initiatives, and improve club membership conversion and retention rates necessary to achieve revenue goals.
This person is a natural team player capable of leading cross-functional initiatives. Core competencies should include excellent marketing, e-commerce, and communication skills, along with the ability to conceptualize, plan, and deliver omnichannel programming within budgetary guidelines. Effective time management, resourcefulness, and creativity are requisite to success.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.
Responsibilities:
MARKETING
- Develop and implement an annual marketing plan that achieves our annual marketing and financial goals while supporting ROCO's long-term mission and brand positioning strategy.
- Creation & integration of the annual release schedule.
- Developing and maintaining consumer profiles, competitive sets, and other information required to properly position ROCO to achieve our long-term goals.
- Create omnichannel marketing materials to support brand strategy.
- Develop and manage all social media content.
- Create and update collateral, including tasting room and educational materials.
- Create a corporate gifting program.
- Develop and update all digital assets, including ROCO's website and e-commerce initiatives, to align with brand standards and provide a seamless customer experience across all platforms.
- Manage the consumer experience online from first click to checkout.
WINE CLUB
- Promote & build membership.
- Create and manage the Club Calendar.
- Communicate with club members regularly through all channels, including a telesales program.
- Maintain accurate membership records and club hygiene.
- Participate in the planning of no less than three membership events per year.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
- Manage CRM.
- Manage Club and E-commerce customer relations.
- Craft compelling brand stories that resonate with the target audience.
- Increase mailing list size with qualified leads.
- Participate in industry and consumer events, seminars, and wine shows as necessary.
- Adherence to customer service policies and procedures.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure excellent guest service.
- Support tasting room service as necessary.
REPORTING
- Develop appropriate KPIs for weekly and monthly reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Retail/hospitality and online/e-commerce sales or loyalty marketing experience a must.
- Wine enthusiasts are a plus.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Hands-on, results-driven leader promoting excellence for brand/company growth.
- Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Scheduling flexibility to work weekends and ensure business staffing needs.
- Analytical with a high-level attention to detail, ability to anticipate customer needs, and ability to respond appropriately.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Software proficiency: Adobe InDesign, Canva, MS Office Suite, Outlook, CRM, Wine Direct & Tock.
