Bet the Farm Winery, a woman-owned family business, is seeking a candidate for a 32-hour per week, year-round position starting mid-July. We currently have 6 acres of producing red vinifera vines and produce approximately 2000 cases annually.
This person will be involved in all aspects of the growing season in the vineyard: shoot positioning, suckering, mowing, leaf pulling, cluster thinning, crop estimates, and grape sampling as we approach harvest.
At harvest, this team member will roll nets, distribute lug boxes, prepare the crush pad, assist in hauling in fruit, crush pad operation, pressing and fermentation activities.
Cellar work will include yeast inoculation, racking, filtration, bottling and sanitation procedures.
