Marketing and Special Event Manager
Seeking a marketing and special event manager for Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars in the beautiful Finger Lakes wine region of New York State. Since 1990, Lamoreaux Landing has been a leader in the crafting of food-friendly cool-climate wines from 100% estate grown fruit.
This position reports directly to the owners and works very closely with our winemaking, tasting room and management to deliver a consistent and high-quality brand experience. The successful candidate will be a positive, articulate, detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple tasks while leading the company in a brand management strategy that maintains brand equity, improves customer experience and engagement, and grows sales.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- All marketing materials from product packaging to point of sale (retail, web, and wholesale)
- All DTC marketing campaigns (tasting room, web, email, social media, etc.)
- All brand management activities (competitions, media, events, etc.)
- Helping plan and implement brand appropriate events at the winery
Professional Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience in marketing
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven graphic design and DTC marketing skills
- Ability to work and manage multiple tasks
- Professional demeanor and polished appearance
- Passion for wine and the Finger Lakes Wine Region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Social Media platforms and Adobe Creative Suite
The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday (8 work hours/day). Candidate must be flexible to support other operations, training and events as needed. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Many benefits, including company provided health insurance plan and retirement plan.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manager / Special Events, Marketing & Public Relations will build and develop relationships with visitors, wine club members, local wine, food, and tourism industries and the media, resulting in brand promotion and effective sales.
Hours: 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday
TASTING ROOM
Tasting room signage and wine tasting notes
Wine & Food Pairings— assist Tasting and Office Managers as needed
Conduct general and specialty tastings as needed
Customer interaction—wine education, brand ambassador, tourist information
Case Club—accession and retention
Open & close tasting room— front door, alarm, register, checklist
MARKETING/BRANDING
Label and Capsule Design
POS/Marketing Materials— both retail and wholesale
Press Releases
Print Advertising
Radio Advertising
Digital Advertising
General Graphic Design as needed
Photographic Gallery Management
Other Special Projects as assigned
SPECIAL EVENTS: In-house
Wine Trail Events—coordinate food pairings, assist with execution
Winery Events (i.e. Vine, Wine & Swine, Harvest Dinner)—planning, coordination, materials and execution
