Winery Kitchen Associate: Dancing Dragonfly Winery is hiring part-time associates for our kitchen - especially for weekday shifts, typically between 10 a.m. ~ 6 p.m. Our kitchen features a spectacular wood-fired oven. We specialize in artisan, gourmet pizza, high-end panini sandwiches, and other small plates.
Summary: Prepare food according to specifications by using approved recipes, proper portioning, and food tools. Deliver food to customers in a positive and professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Restock food preparation areas;
- Adhere to food safety standards;
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests;
- Be familiar with basic food preparation;
- Assist with end-of-the-night cleaning duties;
- Have excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to work quickly and adapt on the go; and
- Flexibility to work different shifts
Skills:
- Oral communication skills;
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Availability to work a varied schedule including some weekends and holidays (we are closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day);
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time;
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs;
- A love of people and good hospitality behaviors are a must
