Role Description
This part-time, on-site Tasting Room Associate position is based in Dickerson, MD. The associate will be responsible for guiding guests through wine tastings, providing education about the wines and the vineyard, assisting with wine sales, and maintaining a welcoming tasting room environment. Additional responsibilities include restocking inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and offering excellent customer service during visits.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Wine Education and understanding of the winemaking process
- Experience in Wine Sales and ability to drive retail revenue
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for engaging with guests
- Excellent Customer Service skills, ensuring a positive guest experience
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle a fast-paced atmosphere
- Prior experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail is advantageous
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events
- A passion for wine and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge
