Essential Job Duties:
The following duties are typical for this position. Employees may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
- Receives orders from the Order Desk
- Prepares outgoing orders for shipment
- Safely operates forklift in the course of daily work
- Receives shipments and inspect product and identify issues
- Monitors inventory of shipping and warehouse supplies
- Performs physical counts of inventory
- Problem solves inventory discrepancies
- Prepares shipment documentation, obtains freight quotes, prepares BOL’s and arranges dock times
- Maintains POs and checks them against incoming materials
- Plans inventory movements to maximize warehouse space and efficiency
- Maintains clean and safe warehouse
- Performs other related duties as directed
- Coordinate Packaging requirements with winemaking staff
Minimum Qualificationsand Experience:
The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.
- Previous experience in a warehouse type environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent

Environment:
Work is performed, primarily in a standard Warehouse environment with frequent interruptions.
Physical:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a warehousesetting and have the ability to operate all warehouse equipment to include Forklifts. To stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach,and twist. To lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight. To operate officeequipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computerkeyboard and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision:
See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing:
Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
