Position Summary
The Tasting Room Associate is the face of our winery, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through knowledgeable wine service, warm hospitality, and engaging storytelling. This role blends customer service, wine education, sales, and event support in a refined yet welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through wine tastings with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Create a memorable, relaxed, and educational tasting experience tailored to each guest
- Share the winery’s story, winemaking philosophy, and tasting notes in an engaging manner
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service
Wine Service & Education
- Pour wines accurately and responsibly following tasting room standards
- Explain varietals, blends, production methods, and food-pairing suggestions
- Maintain strong knowledge of current wine offerings, club selections, and seasonal releases
- Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible service guidelines
Sales & Wine Club Promotion
- Actively promote wine sales, special releases and wine club memberships as directed by Wine Club Director
- Process purchases accurately using the POS system
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
Tasting Room Operations
- Set up and break down tasting areas before and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room, bars, and guest areas
- Restock wines, merchandise, and supplies as needed
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking
- Support private tastings, winery events, and special experiences
Team & Brand Representation
- Represent the winery brand with professionalism, warmth, and consistency
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicate guest feedback and operational needs to management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $26.01 per hour
