Lost Oak Winery is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. This individual will coordinate all private events held in the Venue at Lost Oak Winery. Job Qualifications
- Required minimum of two years experience in event management, hospitality, and venue management with a proven track record in sales.
- Experience managing an event from setup through breakdown
- Revenue-driven mindset with experience in achieving and surpassing sales goals.
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and event planning software.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays as required by events.
- An interest in wine is a plus!
Responsibilities
Establish and strengthen company culture, consistently leading by example and always projecting Lost Oak's core values. Ensure seamless operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive profitability.
- Sales and Bookings: Manage event inquiries, bookings, and sales agreements, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of private events, including meeting with clients to ensure each event meets their expectations
- Event Execution: Work with the Event Lead to ensure flawless execution of on-site events.
- Planning and Logistics: Coordinate event logistics and vendor collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Customer Experience: Build lasting relationships with clients and guests, ensuring every interaction reflects Lost Oak Winery’s values.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Director of Operations and Director of Sales and Marketing to plan and promote events, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to continuously improve processes and guest satisfaction.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with local vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration during events.
Compensation: Base salary of $1,300 per month, plus sales commission.
Hours: The position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site for coordination and additional hours at the discretion of the customer for sales efforts.
