We are seeking a passionate Senior Barrel Sales Representative to lead and expand our sales efforts in California. If you have experience selling oak products or similar, this could be a great career opportunity! Territory will be Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Livermore, Santa Cruz Mountains, Paso Robles and Oregon. Candidate should be based in Northern California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth in California.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wineries and other key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored barrel solutions.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while actively prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
- Attend trade shows and visit clients to strengthen relationships and showcase our exceptional products.
- Provide feedback to the cooperage on customer preferences, industry trends, and product performance to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the wine and spirits industry and preferrable in oak products.
- Enology Degree or similar is desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
- A passion for craftsmanship and an appreciation for the role barrels play in the wine and spirits production process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
