Overview:
Horton Vineyards will be bringing in around 300-400 tons of 17 grape varieties cellar for the upcoming 2024 harvest season. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- loading press, crusher/destemmer
- pump overs/punch down
- wine/juice additions
- cleaning tanks and barrels
- barreling down
- overall cleanliness of cellar
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly for several hours, 8-12-hour shifts. Works extended hours as required during harvest season. The position is seasonal and the anticipated start time is mid-August through mid-November. Schedule will vary based on workload.
Previous cellar experience and forklift experience preferred.
