JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs scheduling responsibilities in support of winery management and functional areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Front line contact for outside vendors, shipping receipts.
- Responsible for collecting completed work orders and following up with data trackers with issues or mistakes.
- Generate shipping/receiving work orders.
- Warehouse chemical audits.
- Create weekly reports for Hoshin metrics, work orders, warehouse audits and pick tickets.
- Follow up on completed and outstanding trucks for the day.
- Create and send Internal wine movement report plan.
- Provide tank washing list to the cellar team daily and weekly.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Print and copy work orders for production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be available to work various shifts and overtime as needed (including evenings and weekends) from August through November.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to communicate in a positive, production and professional manner.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working environment has exposure to related warehouse equipment and associated noise levels.
- Work activities may also include typical tasks found in an office environment.
COMPENSATION
- Hourly Pay Range Posted: $22.07 - $33.13/hr.
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position-related factors.
