We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wine Club Coordinator/Tasting Room Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Wine Club operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for overseeing all Wine Club orders, from order to fulfillment, and responding to all Wine Club member communications. Additionally, it assists with the development and implementation of programs to grow Wine Club membership.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all Wine Club orders from order to fulfillment
- Perform follow-up tracking software on all processed Wine Club orders
- Respond promptly to all Wine Club member communications (digital, phone, email)
- Assist with the development and implementation of programs to grow the Wine Club member count and slow the attrition rate
- Oversees and executes membership application data entry for two tasting rooms
- Plans and executes hospitality events geared toward wine Club members
- Ensures legal shipping compliance regulations are followed on all direct sales orders
- Compiles various reports for the Tasting Room Managers and Operations Director
- Work closely with the Sales and/or Marketing manager to plan and execute cross-channel campaigns and offers
- Collaborates with a team: Tasting Room Manager, Operations Key Holders, Winemakers, Director of Operations, and President
- Provide exceptional guest service according to Lost Oak standards
- Works in the tasting room as a guest service associate to serve wine to guests
- All other tasting room activities as determined by management
- Above all, ensure that guests have an exceptional experience and take away a positive brand image of Lost Oak Winery.
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, retail, sales or related job
- Enjoy working with guests and guest-service-minded
- Endurance for the physical demands of the job
- Part-time position, evenings and weekends, primarily Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Shifts are 6-8 hours per day
- Must be available at least six days per month
- Daytime availability is appreciated but not required
- Wine knowledge is appreciated but not required
Compensation
- $12.15/hour plus tips and wine club sales commissions ($10 average hourly tips based on past 6 month sales).
Physical Demands
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, and use hands to handle, feel, and reach.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- As wine tasting is essential to the job, employees must also be able to taste and smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and depth perception.
