Job Description
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative specializing in Fendt tractors for orchard, vineyard, and other specialty applications. This role focuses on selling high-performance Fendt 200 V/F/P Series tractors to growers, vineyard managers, and agricultural professionals, with secondary responsibilities involving the sale of compatible attachments and equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of specialty crop farming and a passion for matching customers with premium machinery solutions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Fendt tractors to orchard, vineyard and other specialty clients across a defined territory.
- Identify and develop relationships with new customers while maintaining strong ties with existing accounts.
- Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations to showcase the advantages of Fendt tractors in tight-row and specialty crop environments.
- Stay current on all Fendt product offerings, including new models, features, and financing programs.
- Educate customers on compatible attachments and accessories to create complete equipment solutions.
- Coordinate with service and support staff to ensure a seamless post-sale experience.
- Attend trade shows, grower meetings, and local agricultural events to network and generate leads.
- Track all sales activities and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in agriculture equipment or related industry, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Fendt.
- Solid understanding of orchard and vineyard operations, especially the unique equipment needs of specialty crop growers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and travel as needed.
- Technically inclined with a working knowledge of farm machinery.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
