The Field Assistant will support all aspects of farming and viticulture practices, including the care and maintenance of irrigation systems, sprinklers, and vineyard drip systems. Responsibilities also include general equipment maintenance and PVC repairs.
Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must understand and obey all safety and work rules
- Assist in effluent water application to fields
- Record and report out effluent water applications
- Assist in maintaining effluent water system, sprinkler, pumps, and solids management system
- Support farming and vineyard operations
- Operate company vehicles, including pick-up trucks, ATV, tractors, and tractors implements
- Tractor work for the vineyard may include disking, spraying, sulfuring, and spring toothing.
- Tractor work for the fields may include discing, spring toothing and planting.
- Be a Sustainability Champion: In this role, you’ll actively contribute to our mission to make the world a better place—every action, big or small, helps us achieve our sustainability goals and strengthens our commitment as a B Corp.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. - One to two years experience in farming or related industry preferred
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
