Our Napa Valley Winery is hiring for a multi-enterprise experienced Controller. This is a leading global company that is multi-faceted and requires deep attention to detail and strong financial accounting acumen.

Controller Key Responsibilities:

The controller will be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
Accountable for the review of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages in compliance with GAAP
Create and maintain the financial consolidation with multiple entities
Oversee all accounting reconciliations and ensure accuracy
Prepare select CA/TTB tax reporting/compliance, manage outside compliance consultants
Manage and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
Implement and maintain processes to improve strong internal control
Direct the annual financial statement review and tax prep

Controller Qualifications::

5-7 years accounting experience
Experience with Net Suite / ERP
Strong analytical skills, problem resolution, and an exceptional understanding of GAAP
Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
Sharp attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with confidential information
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
