Job Summary

This multi-faceted role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless and compliant wine club experience. With primary responsibility for shipping compliance and fulfillment, this position also serves as a key point of contact for wine club members—supporting day-to-day operations, member engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate is not only detail-oriented and process-driven but also enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service to our most loyal customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Shipping Compliance

Ensure all shipments comply with federal and state alcohol laws, including volume limits, age verification, and restricted areas.
Monitor and implement regulatory changes across all active shipping states.
Maintain and renew shipping licenses as required, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports.

Shipping & Fulfillment

Coordinate and process all wine club and e-commerce shipments.
Liaise with carriers, warehouse staff, and 3PL providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Resolve shipping issues including failed deliveries, damage claims, and address corrections.
Keep detailed records of all shipments for tracking and audit purposes.

Wine Club Operations

Serve as a primary point of contact for wine club members.
Assist with membership processing (sign-ups, renewals, cancellations).
Maintain accurate records of member preferences, shipping details, and billing.
Support the planning and execution of club shipments and release schedules.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional club experience from sign-up to shipment.
Address member questions, concerns, and account updates via phone, email, and in person.
Assist with member events, pick-up parties, and occasional off-site activations.
Support email and print communications highlighting releases, benefits, and events.

Qualifications

Must be a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solving-oriented with a strong desire to learn.
Previous experience in shipping compliance, logistics, and fulfillment is preferred, but not necessary.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and (ideally) platforms like ShipCompliant or OrdePort, but not necessary.
Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift 40+ lbs. This role can be physically active at times and may include extended periods on your feet, assisting in the tasting room, and moving between office and fulfillment areas throughout the day.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with regular interaction in fulfillment and tasting room areas.
Evening, weekend, or holiday availability may be required during peak periods.

There are also opportunities to supplement hourly wage with tips and incentives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
