Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as the Vineyard Manager. This role is essential in maintaining the health and productivity of our vineyards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and a willingness to learn about vineyard operations, including grape growing and care.

Duties

As a Vineyard Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Directing crews and completing work efficiently.
Adhering to a fast paced schedule.
Interacting professionally with clients.
Ability to perform basic vineyard tasks such as pruning, shoot thinning, canopy management, spraying, and weed control.
Maintaining a rigorous schedule and completing tasks in orderly and efficient manner.
Performing heavy lifting tasks, including moving equipment and supplies as needed.
Utilizing basic math skills for measuring and calculating necessary inputs for vineyard management.
Monitoring vine health and reporting any issues to supervisors.

Experience

Prior vineyard experience is required. Candidates should possess:

At least 3 years of experience required
Knowledge of grape growing techniques and vineyard management practices.
Knowledge of vineyard management and ability to perform more complex vineyard tasks will result in increased pay.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team in an outdoor environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
