Tasting Room Sales Associate Part-Time

Reininger Winery, located in beautiful Walla Walla, WA, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities:

Showcase our exquisite wines, creating an atmosphere that cultivates loyal guests and drives sales.
Continuously develop your professionalism and deepen your knowledge of wineries and wines to ensure consistently high customer satisfaction.
Educate and engage guests on our wines, winemaking process, and our rich heritage, enhancing each guest's experience.
Conduct fun, educational, and informative winery tours, sharing our passion for winemaking.
Foster relationships with Wine Club members, consumers, and other wineries in the area, promoting collaboration and networking.
Efficiently handle routine sales transactions using our POS system and maintain accurate daily sales accounting.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the tasting room facility to create an inviting and welcoming environment.
Assist in coordinating and executing special events and outside functions as required.
Adhere to all winery and tasting room procedures, ensuring a seamless and professional operation.
Collaborate with the team to prepare food items served in the tasting room (if applicable).
Effectively communicate with customers in person and over the phone, providing exceptional service and assistance.
Perform any other duties assigned by the manager to support the smooth operation of the tasting room.

Required Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for providing an outstanding guest experience.
A team player with a positive and enthusiastic outlook, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with POS systems, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing priorities and multitasking.
Willingness to work weekends (including holiday weekends) and occasional evenings as required.
Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift to 45 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Must have or be willing to acquire class 12 MAST server and Food Handlers permits.
