Position Overview

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential to delivering a seamless luxury guest experience by ensuring supplies are replenished, public spaces are immaculate, and housekeeping operations run efficiently behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and service areas
Support Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities promptly
Stock and organize housekeeping closets, carts, and storage areas to established par levels
Remove trash, soiled linens, and debris from guest floors and service areas
Assist with room stripping and preparation for cleaning as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and floor care
Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with laundry operations, including transporting and sorting linens
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages
Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed
Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and brand standards

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
Professional demeanor and positive, service-focused attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
