Join an award winning, family owned, regional winery in downtown Indianapolis. Work with a small, strong wine making team making world class wines. The wine cellar assistant will work in the wine cellar on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you will help run the GAI wine bottling line bottle labeler machine and APE case packing machine. During the grape harvest season in the fall you will help with grape crushing and pressing. This is a physical job involving washing wine tanks, cleaning and setting up Seitz wine filters and occasionally loading and unloading wine bottle trucks. Other opportunities are available within the Winery if you want to branch out. You can be involved in / with the tasting room, with on line marketing, with attending wine festivals around the midwest and with attending off site store wine tasting events. The sky is the limit for an adventurous spirit that wants to learn and explore. This job involves lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing occasional ladders and bending down for hoses etc. This job is mainly spent in the wine cellar that is cool and damp / wet at times. You must be able to pass a background check, be eligible to work in the United States, have a GREAT attitude, get an Indiana alcohol license, and have a clean driving record. Normal work hours are five days a week, Monday thru Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Some adjustments on time can be made.
