Eagles’ Landing is a small family-owned winery located in Rosati, Missouri just outside St. James. We are looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals to join our Hospitality and Production team. We specialize in small-batch wines, including several sparkling wines, from sustainably farmed vineyards and are committed to providing our guests with an exceptional tasting experience.
As a Cellar Assistant at Eagles’ Landing, you will be assisting in creating quality Eagles’ Landing wines, work with extraordinarily passionate people, and help maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere at the winery. You will broaden your wine knowledge base and help in our period of growth.

What we will ask you to do:
- Maintains a safe, professional, orderly, and clean working environment.
- Assists in production of quality Eagles’ Landing wines.
- Cleans and sanitizes cellars, stainless steel tanks and all equipment used in cellar operations.
- Performs routine barrel maintenance, such as washing with ozonated water and SO2 gassing of empty barrels.
- Sets up pumps, implements proper use per the procedure’s manual or as the work order specifies and operates all types of pumps including centrifugal, positive displacement, air pumps, and bull dog pups.
- Operates forklift in a safe manner moving empty or full barrels, empty or full bins, glass or cased goods for bottling and dumpers during harvest.
- Assists with filtration which includes setup and sanitation, monitoring filtration operation under supervision, and breakdown and cleaning/sanitation.
- Makes wine additions to barrels and tanks including any and all juice or wine additives.
- Juice and wine racking for all stages of winemaking and per instruction for specified level of clarity.
- Follows and accurately fills out work orders. Confirming details such as barrel/lot ID and tank destinations are correct prior to starting the task.
- Communicates with Winemaker to ensure partial barrels and drums are eliminated when filling and topping.
- Under direction of Winemaker, takes and properly labels wine and juice samples as required and delivers to the lab by designated timeline.
- As requested, works on bottling line dumping glass, packing or palletizing.

- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
