Overview
Wooldridge Creek Vineyard is looking for an office manager to join their team. This is a part time, non-exempt, hourly position with an expected commitment of 12-16 hours and 3-4 days per week, typically mornings. The ideal candidate will be organized, punctual, professional, have prior experience as a bookkeeper or office manager with payroll and other administrative responsibilities, and be excited for the opportunity to spend 3-4 mornings per week working in the picturesque Applegate Valley wine country.
Primary Responsibilities
· Process bi-weekly payroll using Homebase for timekeeping and Gusto for payroll
· Maintain and manage direct shipping licenses for states using SOVOS ShipCompliant and OrderPort online software
· Administrate onboarding of new employees, including Microsoft systems and email access.
· Receive, respond, and file most compliance paperwork and documentation with guidance and direction from general manager including state employment, workers compensation, insurance and company healthcare documents.
· Some cash/banking management for winery including monthly accounting and reporting of cash safe to company controller, deposit of physical checks received, managing cash and change for tasting room till and winery events
· Some AR/AP duties including generating invoices through QuickBooks and receival/transmission of physical invoices to company controller for payment
· Printing checks for winery entertainers, vendors, and contractors
· Occasional administrative or budget related special projects as assigned by general manager
Qualifications
· Prior experience with online payroll processing, office management or bookkeeping
· Familiar with Microsoft suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Detail oriented, punctual, reliable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Payroll management: 1 year (Preferred)
