Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial-minded individual to join us as a Brand Ambassador. This role is pivotal to expanding Rove Winery's market presence through tasting room engagement, wholesale development, and building partnerships with restaurants and retailers. The ideal candidate will balance the art of storytelling with the logistical understanding necessary to ensure our brand's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tasting Room Involvement: Engage with customers in the tasting room to create an exceptional experience that highlights Rove Winery’s values and story.
- Wholesale Department Development: Strategically build our wholesale division by identifying new sales opportunities and expanding into key markets.
- Market Outreach: Cultivate and maintain relationships with restaurants, retailers, and other potential partners in key markets to increase brand visibility and sales.
- Travel & Logistics: Regular travel to key markets to meet potential clients, host tastings, and promote the brand. Oversee shipping logistics and ensure seamless delivery to wholesale clients.
- Brand Understanding: Gain a thorough understanding of the Rove Winery brand, including our values, "Rove Nation" spirit, and the evolution of our wines. Balance romanticizing the product with clear, authentic communication about our capabilities.
- Warehouse Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure logistical considerations are factored into all sales and promotional activities.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the operations manager and ownership, tracking outreach, sales, and market growth.
Key Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the wine or hospitality industry.
- 1 year of experience in hospitality.
- Basic wine education is required; certification is a plus.
- A dynamic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of building relationships and generating sales.
- Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse management, and the practicalities of delivering on sales promises.

- Ability to balance romanticizing the brand with practical sales tactics.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and logistics.
- A passion for wine and the wine industry.
- Willingness to travel regularly for market outreach.
