We're Hiring: Tasting Room Associate

$18/hour | 3–4 shifts per week
Job Description - Embudo Valley Vineyards is a family owned winery located in the scenic Embudo Valley of northern New Mexico. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer focused Wine Tasting Room Associate to join our hospitality team. This role is hands on and guest facing, ideal for someone who enjoys wine, people, and working in a relaxed but professional environment.
Responsibilities - Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room, lead wine tastings and share information about our wines and winery. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming guest experience. Sell wine, wine club memberships, and merchandise. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Assemble charcuterie packs and prepare tasting accompaniments. Pack and ship wine orders carefully and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and work areas. Assist with opening and closing duties. Support winery events, private tastings, and special promotions. Follow all alcohol service laws and winery policies.
Qualifications - Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or tasting room experience preferred. Interest in wine and willingness to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs. Comfortable working weekends.
