Maui Wine is seeking an experienced trades individual to work in multiple areas of cellar and production facility. Maui Wine has been the only winery on Maui for over 50 years, growing grapes and producing local wines. We are a specialized manufacturing business, combining a mix of modern winemaking technology in a rural and historic Upcountry setting with many buildings.
This position requires a technician that can maintain and repair winery facilities, equipment and systems while adhering to mechanical, electrical and safety standards. The technician works closely with staff in year-round production facility to keep operations running safely and smoothly.
Essential Duties:
- Diagnose, maintain and when possible, repair winery-specific equipment and small motor driven tools.
- May perform routine welding and light fabrication for repairs to stainless components.
- Able to read/use electrical schematics and technical documentation for troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform routine and basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- Maintain safe practices including lockout/tagout, PPE use and safe tool operations
- Works well in both independent and team environments
- Documents work, inspections and equipment updates
- Ability to safely operate assigned equipment with company policies and safety regulation
- Collaborate with staff and outside contractors to diagnose, plan and organize maintenance work.
- Maintenance and repairs of other company structures as required.

- This position can be physically demanding and must be able to climb, work in confined spaces, under and around machinery.

Qualifications:
- Maui Resident – must be over the age of 21.
- Reliable transportation with a clean driving record
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the trades or relevant industry
- Ability to safely operate assigned equipment; Forklift and CDL experience desired
Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
