Wild Blossom Meadery + Winery is looking for a cook who wants to grow with us.
To be upfront: this isn’t a glamorous kitchen job—at least not yet. Our current food program is simple, bar-focused, and built around limited equipment (including an industrial air fryer). We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable executing that menu now, but excited about helping refine and expand it over time.
This role is ideal for someone with initiative who enjoys problem-solving in a small kitchen and wants a voice in where the menu goes next.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a simple, bar-style food menu
- Maintain cleanliness, consistency, and food safety
- Work efficiently with limited space and equipment
- Collaborate with management on menu improvements
- Support events, tastings, and weekend rushes
What We’re Looking For
- Prior kitchen or prep experience preferred
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Available evenings, weekends, special events and some holidays
- Passion for food, people, and maybe a little mead
Schedule & Pay
- ~20 hours/week to start (seasonal)
- Strong potential for full-time hours in the summer
- $18–$20/hr based on experience
- Opportunity for raises and food sales tip-out as the menu evolves
Why This Role
This is a chance to help shape a growing food program from the ground up. It’s not fancy—but it can become something special with the right person.
