Job Title: Wine Storage Consultant
Territory: Los Angeles – Central / West (Beverly Hills, Century City, WeHo, Mid-City, Mid-Wilshire, Baldwin Hills)

Hours: 20 hrs / week, can overlap with other contract and wine industry work
Compensation: Targeted Commission of $3,750+ per quarter + $20/hour
About Del Rey Wine Center
Del Rey Wine Center (DRWC) is a brand new luxury wine storage facility centrally located at La Tijera and the 405 in Westchester, just minutes from LAX and the LA beach communities. We’re building a community of passionate oenophiles, sommeliers, brokers, and collectors who value secure, climate-controlled storage and curated experiences. As we grow, we’re looking for another dynamic and well-connected Wine Storage Consultant to network with wine collectors and the greater wine industry ecosystem.
Role Summary
We’re seeking a responsive and driven wine professional who is interested in expanding their earnings by spreading the word about Del Rey Wine Center. The ideal candidate is a distribution rep, wine broker, wine consultant, or sommelier who is interested in monetizing conversations with existing relationships by generating leads for the Del Rey Wine Center brand. It is as simple as adding a ten-second tag line to the end of your current client conversations inquiring if they need offsite storage for their collections or know collectors that might be in need of Del Rey’s services. You’ll be responsible for spreading the word about our facility face to face with wine shops, sommeliers, wine buyers, auction houses, brokers, and consultants. You will also be responsible for nudging collectors to move their collections to Del Rey Wine Center.
Our current team covers wine shops and events from Torrance and Malibu. The ideal candidate will cover wine shops and events from Downtown to Century City north of the I-10, while remaining available to drive to Westchester to meet prospective tenants as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation: Drive new wine storage leasing leads through relationships with wine shops, auction houses, and private clients within your designated territory and existing network.
• Relationship Development: Cultivate referral networks with sommeliers, brokers, wine consultants, and collectors.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Del Rey Wine Center at tastings and trade events; capture raw social content (interviews, behind-the-scenes, etc.).
• Event Strategy: Maintain a calendar of relevant high-value tastings, auctions, and wine community events for the team to attend.
• Instagram Management: help manage and grow DRWC’s Instagram presence; engage with key wine community accounts and post brand-aligned content.
Who You Are
• A self-starter with experience in the wine industry and a sales or hospitality background (sommelier, consulting, wine distribution, or wine brokerage experience a huge plus).
• Well-connected in the LA wine scene: familiar with LA-based wine storage facilities, and aware of key players and events in the region.
• Comfortable juggling in-person relationship-building with digital engagement.
• Driven by results, with a passion for wine and community building.
• Strong communicator with a can-do attitude toward social media (especially Instagram for brands).
