Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Setup Crew Member to assist in preparing venues for various events. This role involves physical setup, organization, and ensuring that all event spaces are ready for successful operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work efficiently under pressure, and has a strong work ethic to support our team in delivering seamless event experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event equipment according to event specifications
- Transport and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other event materials safely and efficiently
- Ensure all setup areas are clean, organized, and ready before events commence
- Collaborate with team members to execute timely setups and adhere to event timelines
- Follow safety guidelines when handling equipment and heavy items
- Respond promptly to any last-minute requests or adjustments during event preparation
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Prior experience in event setup or related roles is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to work sites is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
