Job Summary — Winery Laborer
The Cellar and Co. Winery and Bistro is seeking a hardworking, dependable Winery Laborer to join our team. This hands-on position plays a vital role in daily wine production, cellar operations, and facility upkeep. As a Winery Laborer, you will support various aspects of the winemaking process — from handling equipment and materials to cleaning tanks, barrels, and production areas — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and sanitation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace, and wants to be part of crafting high-quality, handcrafted wines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with crushing, pressing, racking, bottling, corking, and labeling wine.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain wine tanks, barrels, hoses, and other winery equipment.
Move, lift, and stack cases of wine and barrels safely and efficiently.
Support general cellar operations, including cleaning floors, drains, and production areas.
Maintain a tidy, organized workspace and follow all standard operating procedures.
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to protect product quality and team safety.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the winemaking and tasting room team.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, and climbing ladders.
Willingness to work flexible hours during peak production periods, including some weekends as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Prior winery, brewery, or food production experience is a plus but not required — we’re happy to train motivated team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
