We are a family-owned business and proud to be New York’s Most Award-Winning Winery since 1962. We want to hear from you! We are pleased to invite a talented and eager Sparkling Wine Cellar Technician to join our winery production team in Hammondsport, NY.
Your Typical Day In our hands-on, Full-time Wine Cellar Technician role, you will assist the Sparkling Winemaker with the daily operations of the sparkling cellar.
· Ensure all cellar procedures are carried out in a way that optimizes quality, efficiency, and safety.
· Assist in disgorgement of sparkling wines with Sparkling Winemaker.
· Carry out cellar operations such as washing bottles, labeling, and packing wine into cases.
About You
· You work well independently and within a team environment.
· You are physically able to lift and carry 55 lbs from ground to shoulder, and are able to work standing on concrete for long periods of time.
· You are self motivated and autonomous in the workspace.
· You are dependable and reliable
· You have previous cellar experience and are forklift trained and certified. (preferred, but will train the right candidate)
