Job Summary:
As an Event Coordinator at our upscale facility, you will be the liaison between clients and our team during the execution of each event. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and creative problem-solving will be key to delivering premium experiences that reflect our brand’s sophistication and excellence.
Our ideal candidate will have had event experience with specific talents including creative design, event timing, managing staff, food, wine and hospitality. Position requires skills in sales, people and crowd management and commitment to the job and customers. Cash management, committed work ethic, well-dressed and enjoys teamwork.
This position is part-time to full-time hours depending on the event schedule - potentially long hours. It requires good physical capabilities as it requires lifting banquet tables, cases of wine, assisting in setting-up and taking down event equipment and working in the assigned capacity.
Other potential duties and skills:
- Work closely with catering, décor, audio-visual, and third-party vendors to ensure all event elements align.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are impeccably managed.
- Respond to last-minute changes or issues with poise and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate records, contracts, billing, and post-event feedback.
- Stay current on event trends, luxury hospitality standards, and guest experience best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field (preferably in a luxury setting).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication including interpersonal abilities and problem solving
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in event planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
