Superior Beverage Group is a family owned and operated company that has been around since 1922. Our Purchasing Coordinators provide countless smiles across all Northeastern and Central Ohio. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for forecasting, ordering, and maintaining the proper beverage inventory. This is a fast-paced environment that provides our customers with all their beer and wine needs.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm in office position

Typical Duties
- Work closely and effectively with other members of the Purchasing Department
- Forecast current and future inventory needs
- Maintain inventory at designated PAR levels
- Minimum PAR level to prevent Out Of Stocks
- Maximum PAR level to keep inventory costs low
- Utilize pricing schedules to ensure that products are purchased at optimal price
- Communicate with Brand Managers to review Sales Department goals and programs
- Create and analyze inventory reports on a daily basis
- Submit purchase orders to suppliers
- Accurately enter and maintain order information on internal systems
- Communicate inventory updates to the Sales Department in regards to Out of Stock information
- Maintain and track product code dates to ensure freshness
Skills/Qualifications
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be detail oriented
- Must possess strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Must maintain strong written/oral communication skills with the ability to speak to different levels of management over different departments internally and externally
- Proven ability to multitask and remain organized
Required
- High school Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years or more professional experience in buying, purchasing, ordering, and/or analysis required
