Tasting Room Associate

We are seeking professional, sales motivated, team-orientated and energetic individuals to join our team at Williams Gap Vineyard. Tasting Room Associates must have a passion for wine and possess outstanding customer service skills. Wine knowledge is required. Must be able to multi-task, be at least 21 years old, lift 50 lbs and be able/willing to work weekends and some holidays. Tasting Associates are responsible for presenting our wines during tastings with confidence and with a focus on forming relationships with our guests. Associates are also responsible for greeting guests and selling club memberships.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide incredible wine experiences for our guests by telling our story and providing wine education to each guest.
Effectively communicate with a professional and welcoming manner to guests, members, coworkers and supervisors.
Promote Wine Club Sales.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with guests and members.
Cleaning, glass washing, inventory stocking, and other tasks as needed.
Assist with special events as needed.

Compensation: $10/hr + generous tips. Daily wages range from $200 - $300 (hourly wages and tips included; commission excluded). Commission opportunities include $15-$20 per club membership sold and sales commissions on featured products. We also have an upper level club in which we pay $50 per membership of that tier sold.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
